Rules & Regulations for Students
1. General Discipline
- All students must maintain discipline, dignity, and respect within the college premises.
- Use of abusive language, misconduct, or involvement in any indisciplinary activity is strictly prohibited.
- Students must carry their College Identity Card at all times while on campus.
- Silence and decorum must be maintained in classrooms, library, and corridors.
2. Attendance Rules
- Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory as per university/UGC norms.
- Students with low attendance may not be allowed to appear in examinations.
- Leave applications must be submitted in advance (except in emergencies).
3. Dress Code
- Students must wear decent, simple, and appropriate attire suitable for an academic environment.
- Avoid wearing revealing or inappropriate clothing.
- Lab/Practical dress (if applicable) must be strictly followed.
4. Anti-Ragging Policy
- The college strictly follows Anti-Ragging guidelines as per Indian law.
- Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and punishable.
- Students found guilty will face strict disciplinary action including suspension or expulsion.
5. Mobile Phone Usage
- Mobile phones must be kept on silent mode inside classrooms.
- Use of phones during lectures is strictly prohibited unless permitted by faculty.
- Misuse of mobile phones (recording without permission, etc.) is punishable.
6. Library Rules
- Silence must be maintained inside the library.
- Books must be returned on time; fines will be charged for late submission.
- Damage or loss of books must be compensated by the student.
7. Cleanliness & Campus Care
- Students must maintain cleanliness in classrooms and campus.
- Use dustbins; littering is strictly prohibited.
- Writing on walls, desks, or damaging college property is punishable.
8. Examination Rules
- Students must follow all examination guidelines strictly.
- Any kind of unfair means (cheating) will lead to strict action as per university rules.
- Carry admit card and ID during examinations.
9. Safety & Security
- Students must follow all safety instructions issued by the college.
- Unauthorized entry of outsiders is not allowed.
- Any suspicious activity must be reported to the administration immediately.
10. Harassment & Grievance
- The college maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment.
- Students can report issues to:
- Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
- Anti-Ragging Committee
- College Administration
- Confidentiality of complaints will be maintained.
11. Participation in Activities
- Students are encouraged to participate in cultural, academic, and sports activities.
- Participation must not affect academic responsibilities.
12. Fees & Dues
- All fees must be paid within the prescribed time.
- Failure to pay fees may result in penalties or restriction from exams.
13. Prohibited Activities
- Smoking, alcohol, drugs, and any illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
- Possession of harmful objects or involvement in violence is punishable.
14. Disciplinary Action
- Violation of rules may lead to:
- Warning
- Fine
- Suspension
- Expulsion (in severe cases)
15. Amendments
- The college reserves the right to modify rules and regulations as per requirement.
